You can trust your Dog to guard your house,
but never trust them to guard your Girl Scout Cookies!!

but now I can have my own.......

So what does my master do all day........this is "Worth Sharing" and the name of this years cookie theme for our Girl Scouts!!  Let me tell you a little story of what happened the other day.

I, Ginger,  had a hard time staying away, see this is the part when she is about to bake the cookies, could she drop one, only one??? Nope.

Then she had me wait all night long and then my sister started to put in the amazing filling, please excuse my dog drool, maybe she will drop one........

Nope, she is so careful rolling the filling to make this the perfect treat............ if only I could have just a little nibble, my nose is so close................

Nailed it I got a taste, these are amazing. Maybe she will give me more if I hang out a bit......

and if I sit really pretty, ........

YES, YES, it worked she gave me some, YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM

Maybe your master can make some of these delicious treats, check out the recipe below.

Plus go to Girls Scouts of Western Washington's cookie recipe page to find more yummy recipes, some for even you humans too..

Dog – si – Dogs,
inspired by the Do-si-do cookie, from Renee’ and Vicki,
made for Ginger our yellow lab

For the hard cookie sandwich shell:
½ cup Coconut Oil (melted)
¼ cup Peanut Butter all natural no sugar or salt
¾ cup fresh or canned pumpkin
1 egg
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats, ground to fine flour
½ cup rolled oats

For the filling:
¾ cup Peanut Butter all natural no sugar or salt
½ cup ground rolled oats

Mix all ingredients for hard cookie sandwich shell, divide dough into small balls, and then press on cookie sheet to make a disk shape.
Poke hole in center of each cookie and add divots to resemble a Do-si-do cookie.  Bake cookie at 350 degrees for approximately 35-40 minutes and allow to cool in oven over night to set and get hard.

In the morning fill each cookie half with a roll of the filling and smash another cookie together, and you have a Dog-si-Dogs biscuit.

This recipe makes approximately 18 completed cookies.

Dogs are really an incredible companion and can take the blues away on a rainy day, make some treats for your dog today.

Don't have a dog check out Seattle Humane
Saving a pet is a wonderful thing to do, while Ginger was not from there, we were her 6th owner in 9 months.  Those other people really missed out on a great dog.  Pets need your love and time, but it is a beautiful commitment to make to one of God's creatures.

My Masters really like Girl scout cookies and you may have seen us walking along collecting orders for your favorite Girl Scout cookies over the past few weeks.  Well the time for those delightful cookies to arrive is upon us and she will be passing them out this week.  What you missed out on getting in on the fun, or maybe you want to place an order to help her reach her goal, check out and click on her digital cookie store.

Or if you just want a chance to run into her and all her Girl Scout friends check out all the booth sales we will be having at your local stores and establishments throughout Western Washington March 4th to March 20th.  To find the closest sale near you click here .

Well time is certainly flying by,
it's already Girl Scout Cookie Season again.
Our favorite time of year.
My Girl Scout has been selling cookies for the past 7 years and is well on her way to another outstanding year.  Her goal this year is 3000 boxes of cookies and she is well on her way and is focused on her goal. She could always use your help. Check out her digital store if you would like to order some cookies or make a donation to Operation Smile.

Our top 6 cookies in Western Washington, but do not forget our gluten free Toffee-tastic orderable now on this site for only $5.50 a box.

She strives to have 10% of her sales to Operation Smile and cookies to the St. Vincent de Paul food bank at her school, St. Mary Magdalen. Very proud of her desire to help others with these tasty treats.
Located at St. Mary Magdalen School, in Everett, WA

Operation Cookie drop sends cookies to our soldiers overseas. We thank you for your support.

So while Vicki is busy with her cookie sales, Mom had to get busy with cooking with Girl Scout Cookies.  Not a bad job to have.  And it's a sacrifice I was willing to endure.

The only tricky part for me this year is about a month ago I gave up about 90-95% of my intake of white flour, sugar, potatoes, rice and brown sugar.    So when I thought about new recipes to try I wanted to make one that would not have any of these additional products.  So  I started to do some well needed testing in my kitchen. And testing gets messy....

And since we love Darigold at this house, a delicious creamy dessert was the option.

Whipping cream and lemon zest,YUM!!
I do miss the Lemon Chalet cookies from days gone by, but I  am very fond of lemon, so Savanah Smiles have become my favorite cookie with a good cup of coffee.  So to make something with these sweet and tangy cookies was a no brainer.

So with a little help from my Magic Bullet, Darigold and some Savannah Smiles....
Let's get busy....

Please enjoy a rich and indulgent and low sugar, ..................

Savannah Cheesecake Cream
¾ cup Darigold 2% cottage cheese
½ cup Darigold 30% whipping cream
Zest of ½ lemon
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
3 packets Truvia sweetener
4 drop of yellow food coloring (optional)
Blend above ingredients in food processor til thick and creamy  ( I use a Magic Bullet)

5 Savannah Smile Girl Scout Cookies –
1 whole as garnish & 4 crushed to layer within

½ cup prepared Darigold 30% whipped cream with Truvia sweetener

Layer lemon cream, cookies, whipped cream, cookies and more lemon cream ending with whipped cream and full cookie on top.

Enjoy!  This recipe only has 10 grams of sugar from the GS cookies per large serving, and can easily be shared.

Come check out all the recipes you can make with your favorite Girl Scout cookie!!
